We, at S.G. Biopharm, have adopted GMP for reducing the intrinsic risks involved in tablet manufacturing. These risks could arise from mistaken labeling or cross-contamination or mix ups. The primary reason behind following good manufacturing practice is to supply tablets to customers that are totally safe, and conforming to global standards. To this end, we have set up an environment that is thoroughly sanitized and infection free.
Our Premises – By premises, we mean our production, quality control, weighing, storing and ancillary areas. All these areas together make up our premises. As we follow WHO guidelines of GMP, we need to maintain an ambience that is completely germ-free and hygienic. Each portion of our premise is important and forms a part of our entire chain of production and storage. It is our endeavor to maintain our works in the safest level so that chances of contamination are nullified.
Production Process – From procurement to packaging, this entire process of tablet manufacturing is under strict supervision of scientists, pharmacists and working staff. We strive to maintain an environment of ‘zero’ contamination throughout our manufacturing process. Incidences of cross contamination and bacterial contamination are reduced to infinitesimally low levels through implementation of hygienic processes. All our machineries are disinfected and working staff are provided sterilized attire. Workers inside our manufacturing unit must keep themselves covered from head to toe except the eyes, so as to prevent spread of any form of disease or illness.
Our weighing and packaging divisions are equally superlatively sanitized. Packaging of tablet must be done under stringent environmental conditions so that tablets stay dry and unspoiled. Labeling of tablets is done meticulously as even a negligible mistake might have serious repercussions.
Our Quality Control – Quality control is carried out throughout our production process from procurement to dispatch. We, at S.G. Biopharm, procure ingredients from vendors following international standards of manufacturing and management. Even after procuring our raw materials from highly reliable sources, we pass them through quality tests to remove any form of hesitation.
Thereafter, several quality control tests are conducted at different levels of production of these tablets. We feel that as a WHO GMP approved manufacturer for tablet in India, we need to observe strict quality in every level of manufacturing and packaging. For any defect identified, the entire batch of medicine is rejected.
